We really had a fun time being out and about together in the spring weather. We have been planning our garden, planting seeds, and it was great to be able to analyze the pros and cons of different mulches, and there were many kinds of fertilizers and soils to choose from as well.
For instance, we chose a mulch that did not have dyes in it and a fertilizer that is made from fish by products from Alaska fishing industry, so it is environmentally friendly and without added chemicals! Together, we checked prices and added up what we had bought so far, as well as talking to staff to ask questions. Dontae introduced himself to many staff members along the way, making it an especially friendly and social experience at Home Depot!
Finally, we tallied our budget and with what was left over each member chose their own annual flowers to be planted in our garden today. At the end, we all relaxed and tried out the different garden furniture. It was a great time!
