How long have you been with JSDD?
3 years; I started February 2023.

Yes, Administrative Coordinator.
What is your first memory of JSDD?
My first memory is walking into my interview for the WAE center. I felt the wonderful energy from the staff and the beautiful building.
What has most surprised you about working with JSDD?
I have been in this field for quite some time, but in the residential setting. Working in the WAE Center day program has shown me that just because you have a disability, that does not limit your talent and your desire to learn new things.
What are 3 words to describe JSDD?
Community, loving, opportunities!
What do you find most challenging?
At the moment, I have no challenges!
What do you wish other people knew about JSDD?
The different opportunities that the WAE center provides for our community, such as a holistic approach.
When your friends/family find out that you work at JSDD, what do they say or ask?
What do I do here? What is it that I love doing here? I respond by saying that I absolutely love everything about my job!
Tell me about someone who has influenced you while working with JSDD?
Harry has influenced me; his enthusiasm and dedication that he puts into his staff and members is inspiring. He has mentored me to develop a strong and consistent daily routine at work.
What part of your job are you most excited about?
Continuing to get potential members into the WAE center, so that they can see the different opportunities that the WAE center has for members throughout the community.
What is on your wish list for the next 5 years with JSDD?
Member growth- seeing our members grow, doing the things they love to do while at the WAE center.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about working for JSDD?
It’s a welcoming place and the members are delightful to work with.
Before working at JSDD what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
My last job brought me into the field. I was a director at a residential home.
What is your favorite thing for Lunch?
Something light so I won’t be too sleepy! A healthy lunch is my go-to.
What is something about you that is not on your resume?
I am a determined individual and love walking outside in nature!
