How long have you been with JSDD?
July will be 15 years.
Was this the position you started in?
No, I started out as a weekend DSP at the Livingston house. After that, I worked in the WAE Center, as a one-to-one on Wednesdays with Scott R. I was then the Assistant Manager for the Whippany house, followed by Manager for the Millburn house, before I got promoted to Associate Director of Quality Assurance.

What is your first memory of JSDD?
Going out on a weekend activity with the ladies of the Livingston house to get manicures and pedicures!
What has most surprised you about working with JSDD?
The way in which everyone works as a team.
What are 3 words to describe JSDD?
Hard-working, Team, Family.
What do you find most challenging?
Staffing on the weekends when I am on call.
What do you wish other people knew about JSDD?
That we are very family oriented when it comes to the residents!
When your friends/family find out that you work at JSDD, what do they say or ask?
Is it a challenging job?
Tell me about someone who has influenced you while working with JSDD?
Letticia Waymer and Kristia Clark. They are always willing to assist!
What part of your job are you most excited about?
When the residents know my name and express how happy they are when they see me. Also, I love helping when I can in any capacity.
What is on your wish list for the next 5 years with JSDD?
Just continuing to learn and lead in any way that I can.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about working for JSDD?
That it is a great place to work; they will give you all of the tools you need to grow, and someone is always here to help.
Before working at JSDD, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Working with younger kids as a lead teacher.
What is your favorite thing for Lunch?
Jersey Mike’s is my go-to.
What is something about you that is not on your resume?
That I pay attention to detail, and every now and then I can give you a good laugh!
