JSDD is pleased to announce the renewal of funding for Life | Home | Tech. We are deeply grateful to the Grotta Fund for Older Adults for its continued support and commitment to helping older adults remain safe, connected, and independent.
This grant renewal represents a third year of partnership and will allow Life | Home | Tech to continue expanding educational opportunities for older adults, caregivers, and professionals who support aging populations. The program focuses on demonstrating how technology can enhance quality of life, support aging in place, and empower individuals to maintain independence.
Through this funding, Life | Home | Tech will:
- Continue offering tours of our Demo Home, where visitors can experience real-world applications of enabling technology firsthand
- Update the Demo Home with new and emerging technologies that address evolving needs related to safety, memory support, communication, and daily living
- Expand community education efforts through presentations, classes, and hands-on technology demonstrations
- Utilize a portable education kit to bring technology education directly into community settings
- Strengthen partnerships with organizations, businesses, congregations, and agencies serving older adults throughout the MetroWest community
- Participate in professional development and outreach opportunities
This funding allows us to continue educating and empowering older adults, caregivers, and service providers through accessible, hands-on learning experiences.
