Spring Haiku and a Spring Miracle Poem

By WAE Poetry Group / April 24, 2026

Afternoon rain
Cold
The dove’s heart

—The Tuesday Morning Poets

The phone
Is ringing
I am in love

—The Tuesday Morning Poets

I see a barbeque grill
It makes hot dogs
Makes me hungry.

—Gigi

I see my heart
It pounds
For love

—Jack

I see people
They’re dancing
Makes me happy laugh

—Alicia

I am a Miracle by Alicia

I am a cancer-free miracle.
I am a miracle. My mom and dad got married
and I was the flower girl.
I am a miracle. I can see visions.
I am a miracle. I am the milk and honey in my coffee, tea.
I am a miracle. I graduated from school in 1998.

I am a miracle. I can do anything.
I am a miracle. I can hold on and stand.
I am a miracle. My temper acts crazy at times.
