An Evening of Gratitude, Connection, and Impact
JSDD held its annual Goodman Perwien Legacy Society Cocktail Reception, an elegant and heartfelt gathering to honor the extraordinary generosity of those whose philanthropic support ensures the agency’s continued strength, growth, and innovation.
The reception was held in the Heidi Gallery, surrounded by the current exhibition of beautiful and inspiring artwork. The atmosphere was warm and celebratory, with guests enjoying wine and gourmet hors d’oeuvres along with uplifting conversation.
The evening served not only as a thank-you, but also as a celebration of the community of supporters who ensure that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live lives filled with dignity, purpose, and creativity.
The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated reveal of JSDD’s new Legacy Donor Wall, an elegant permanent installation honoring those who have made a planned gift, bequest, or a lifetime gift to the organization.
One of the guests, speaking on behalf of the Legacy Society, remarked, “JSDD is more than an organization, it is a community grounded in values and love. It means so much to know that our support will have meaning long into the future.”
The Legacy Cocktail Reception not only honored the past and present generosity of JSDD’s supporters, it celebrated a bold and compassionate vision for the future.
