Variety Show Features WAE Performing Artists!

The WAE Center’s JDAIM Variety Show was a joyful celebration of creativity, talent, and inclusion. Members came together to perform music, theater, and original acts after weeks of rehearsals, creating an inspiring event filled with passion and collaboration. From singing and flute performances to a lively scene from Peter Pan, the show highlighted the incredible spark within every performer.

JSDD in 2024, a year ripe with celebration and innovation. This agency, long committed to creating home, opportunity, and community, has arrived at the 35th anniversary of its very first kosher group home in Millburn, New Jersey.

Chairs of Inclusion: A Seat at the Table for Everyone
The Chairs of Inclusion were commissioned and created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled’s WAE (Wellness, Arts, Enrichment) Center, an alternative learning center in West Orange for people with developmental disabilities.
JSDD’s WAE Center – Power of Performance
The Power of Performance is a film featuring a slate of WAE Center member artists who have been developing their craft and preparing for public events. Inspirational original poetry readings, dramatic readings, singing, Tai Chih Chih, and song leading to name a few of the featured performances.

WAE Center Gallery
If the WAE Center were a living being, the Art Studio would be its heartbeat. The Art Studio offers opportunities for our members to explore creating fine art through painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, jewelry design, and graphic and computer arts.
