Heidi Gallery is dedicated to the practice and belief that creative endeavors enrich lives and communities.
Pride-Full 2026 highlights the fearless work of LGBTQ+ artists and their allies. Art that refuses to shrink, soften, or sanitize the human experience. Work that speaks to each of us and fills the space with the raw, the radiant, the political, the messy, the joyful, and the defiant.
A play on words for this chameleon of a color that plays tricks on the eyes and pulls at the heart of strings when creating mood and nuance.
This year’s JDAIM exhibit is inspired by fashion and our ability to convey and create fashion in multiple forms, media and structures. The WAE Studio has explored and embraced the notion of what it is to be “FashionABLE”…which, by definition, is to conform to current trends. The resulting exhibit is ripe with ideas, expressions and notions!
This inaugural exhibit features the work of Heidi Gallery Artist Members in all of their multifaceted glory. The artist membership began in February of 2025 and quickly a group of prolific creatives stepped up to become part of this unique, inclusive artistic community.
The WAE Open is not thematic; rather, the exhibition seeks to showcase the highest quality visual art being made by established, emerging, and underrepresented artists. We invite artists of all disciplines and backgrounds to share their voice and vision with us. We are seeking work that reflects excellence, authenticity, and bold imagination.
The WAE Center at JSDD is proud to celebrate 20 years of empowering artists, nurturing creative expression, and embracing the ever-evolving nature of art. Since 2004, the WAE (Wellness, Arts, and Enrichment) Center has been dedicated to “Finding the Spark Within” for everyone who attends.
Self-Taught artists take center stage at Heidi Gallery for the Summer Symbiosis Exhibit. This exhibit challenges preconceived notions of what individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities can do. The answer is: they create, they imagine, and they persevere.
Pride-Full exhibit is the first Heidi Gallery exhibition to be held during the month of June. The Gallery is showcasing works which celebrate identity, inclusivity and love in all their guises.
Heidi Gallery at JSDD is excited to announce Contextual, a juried exhibition featuring works of art that contain both text and texture. Heidi Gallery seeks artists working in a wide variety of mediums, creating work that is dynamic, thought provoking and well executed.
To sow seeds, nurture growth, and enjoy the bounty of one’s investment of energy. This process of taking bloom can be experienced in the world of horticulture, creativity and humanity. This exhibit is an exploration of all that we sow here at the WAE Center and the many ways that fruit, flowers, hearts, minds and skills subsequently flourish.
A creative, intentionally or unintentionally, has ‘to be determined’ to be heard. Determination drives talent, dedication, and a strong work ethic. A creative group can nurture one’s artistic well-being and determine the opportunities that might yet be taken. Join the New Jersey Art Association for this exhibit that speaks to the power of an art community to inspire and thrive.
Heidi Gallery at JSDD is proud to announce the annual juried exhibition, The WAE Open – 2024. The WAE Open is not thematic; rather, the exhibition seeks to showcase the highest quality visual art being made by established, emerging, and underrepresented artists.
