We are proud to announce that Todd E., a valued resident and active member of the WAE Center, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 NJACP Stars Award, a prestigious recognition presented by the New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP). This award celebrates individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who inspire others through their personal achievements and contributions to their communities.
Todd’s journey at JSDD has been marked by incredible growth, independence, and leadership. He takes great pride in his Jewish heritage, often starting the day at the WAE Center with prayers or songs. A gifted communicator, Todd brings thoughtful insight to our discussion groups, reflecting his intellect, curiosity, and love of learning.
His vibrant personality shines on stage—he has served as emcee of our annual Coffee House and Variety show and performed original stand-up comedy routines that showcase his humor and confidence.
Todd exemplifies the spirit of the NJACP Stars Award, and we are honored to celebrate this well-deserved recognition with him.
